Programme

Restoring hope, peace, and human dignity.

MMF restores hope, peace, and human dignity back into the lives of people who were victims of man-made or natural disasters.

MMF Humanitarian Aid

Overview

In an unsettled society where individuals and families live in fear of not surviving the next hurdle, MMF stands beside victims of disaster. Nigeria has experienced — and continues to experience — a magnitude of disasters ranging from terrorism, kidnapping, banditry, ethnic and religious crises, herdsmen attacks, criminalities, oil spills, pipeline vandalism, and cholera.

These disasters have claimed lives, ruined communities, and destroyed habitats. The developmental and humanitarian challenges they cause require deliberate actions, strong commitments, and sustained responses through an effective disaster management plan.

Our Framework

Four pillars of disaster response.

01

Relief

Immediate distribution of food and non-food items — clothes and essentials needed for survival.

02

Recovery

Helping families regain stability after the immediate crisis has passed.

03

Restoration

Rebuilding livelihoods, homes, and community infrastructure.

04

Reintegration

Supporting affected people to return to school, work, and community life.

Our Objective

Short and long-term support for affected communities.

The programme provides short and long-term support to families and communities affected by disaster, and strengthens the policies and institutional capacity of Nigeria's disaster management framework.

  • Emergency relief through food and non-food distributions
  • Scholarship assistance for affected families and communities
  • Safe School enrolment outside insecure communities
  • Partnerships with individuals and organisations to improve learning environments
